Care Management Associates, Inc. the parent company of FLAssistedLiving.com was founded in Clearwater, Florida in 1998 by Cynthia Ferrara, a Registered Nurse of 15 years.

While working within a hospital setting as a registered nurse and then in home healthcare as a care coordinator, Cynthia saw first hand that a person was "on their own" to find and initiate services that they may need.  In addition, family members caring for a loved one had even less support from the healthcare system and there was a tremendous need for an objective person to guide them.

Cynthia formed Care Management Associates to be the patient and their family's advocate.  Centered on providing helpful services that are so often left to the individual and/or their family to handle, CMA's goal is to focus on the details so that an individual and their family can focus on getting better.
