A Distinctive Approach to Alzheimer’s Care
Encore Senior Village at Clearwater is nestled on more
than 5 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds with mature
trees. Each of the seven cottages are home to only 14
residents that share large yards with walking paths,
points of interest, planter boxes, small waterfalls,
gazebos and pergolas. The yards are surrounded by a gated
fence for security. Each cottage has a home-like
appearance and features a large front porch, its own
living room, dining room, kitchen and laundry room. Each
resident room has its own full shower, vanity with sink
and a toilet. Rooms are dressed with a bed and headboard,
bedside table with lamp, wingback chair and ceiling fan.
Licensed through the State of Florida as Assisted Living Facility
License #9666, Encore Senior Village at Clearwater offers
Alzheimer’s and dementia care. Also licensed for Extended
Congregate Care.

Rediscovery communities has the look and feel of home –

Residents are grouped by similar abilities and live
together in small-group cottages, where they participate
in activities and share meals together. They enjoy a

Our Activity Program
Every aspect of Encore’s innovative Quality of Life
Activity Program has been developed with the
Alzheimer’s/dementia resident in mind. Within each of our
cottages, small groups of residents with similar
abilities live together. The activities scheduled for each
cottage are specifically geared to the ability level of
those residents and include leisure, personal care and
work-oriented activities that were once part of the
residents’ daily routines.
Encore’s Quality of Life Specialists carefully match
activities with the most appropriate time of day. Typical
days include activities designed to be active and passive,
indoor and outdoor, group-oriented and one-on-one.
Throughout the year, residents also enjoy outings such as
fishing trips, scenic drives, visits to local parks, or a
lunch or dinner out. There are also several special
community-wide events such as Hawaiian Luaus and Western
Barbeques.
