A Distinctive Approach to Alzheimer’s Care
The campus of Encore Senior Village at Greenacres
consists of an administration building and cottages. Each
cottage features 10 private rooms and 2 shared rooms, all
with private bathrooms, to accommodate each family's
preference. The cottages also feature their own living
room, dining room, serving kitchen, laundry facility and
common areas. The spacious cottage sits in a picturesque
garden allowing resident's the independence to enjoy time
outside.
Licensed through the State of Florida as Assisted Living
Facility License #9409, Encore Senior Village at
Greenacres offers Alzheimer’s and dementia care. Also
licensed for Extended Congregate Care.

At Encore Senior Village, we’ve created an environment
that is calming and understandable to those with
Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias with our
nationally respected Rediscovery™ program. Each of our
Rediscovery communities has the look and feel of home –
right down to cozy rooms, peaceful gardens and home-cooked
meals.
Residents are grouped by similar abilities and live
together in small-group cottages, where they participate
in activities and share meals together. They enjoy a
supportive, failure-free environment with round-the-clock
care from specialists who truly understand what it means
to age with dignity and grace.

Our Activity Program
Every aspect of Encore’s innovative Quality of Life
Activity Program has been developed with the
Alzheimer’s/dementia resident in mind. Within each of our
cottages, small groups of residents with similar abilities
live together. The activities scheduled for each cottage
are specifically geared to the ability level of those
residents and include leisure, personal care and
work-oriented activities that were once part of the
residents’ daily routines.
Encore’s Quality of Life Specialists carefully match
activities with the most appropriate time of day. Typical
days include activities designed to be active and passive,
indoor and outdoor, group-oriented and one-on-one.
Throughout the year, residents also enjoy outings such as
fishing trips, scenic drives, visits to local parks, or a
lunch or dinner out. There are also several special
community-wide events such as Hawaiian Luaus and Western
Barbeques.
