Southland Suites is an assisted living residence that provides a comfortable place to live and support services daily to older adults who want to retain their independence but don't require the skilled care provided in nursing homes.  Older adults receive assistance with daily living within a warm, beautiful setting while maintaining their independence and dignity.  We provide services and amenities around the clock personalized to meet our resident's specific needs, captivate their interest and make life vibrant.

At Southland Suites we provide a personalized living experience.  We take time to know our residents' life stories, their likes and dislikes, their family, their friends and their dreams.  We help our residents maximize their independence and quality of life while providing assistance and support catered to each resident's specific needs.  Our goal is to help our residents stay as independent as possible, while providing for them the services, activities and care they need to thrive.

We understand each of our residents has individualized needs and preferences; Southland Suites is designed to meet them.  That's why we create a Personal Service Plan for every resident.  This plan encompasses the physical needs and personal preferences of each resident, and is molded to fit their daily and weekly routines.  Fees are then based on the service and care provided to each individual.  This approach provides customer value for our residents because they only pay for what they need and want.  Our health care and nursing team continually monitors our residents' health to ensure these plans are modified to meet their changing needs.

At Southland Suites, we know working with and caring for our residents requires special talent and skill.  That's why we invest a lot of time and resources finding the right people to serve our residents.  They must be professional, dedicated and enjoyable to be around.  Most importantly, they need to be passionate about serving seniors.  We continually educate and train our staff to ensure our residents always receive exceptional support. 

Our staff is their to assist our residents around the clock with bathing or showering, dressing assistance, dining, and grooming.  At Southland Suites, help is always close at hand.  The same staff may care for the same resident throughout the day.  This continuity is not only important for developing a bond of trust but is key to detecting changes in the health of our residents.

The Dining Experience

Southland Suites offers nutritious, restaurant-style meals served by our trained wait staff, and our chefs are masters at creating traditional meal favorites plus a selection of fresh, flavorful dishes using low-sodium, heart-healthy cooking techniques.

We strive to offer our residents plenty of choices in their dining experience. They choose where to sit and what they want to eat. The dining room has extended hours for residents’ convenience.

Meals are prepared by our trained chefs, using only hand-selected produce, the freshest herbs and spices, and the freshest meat and seafood. Southland Suites' chefs will gladly cater special events, even preparing dishes from residents’ own recipes. A private dining room is available to entertain family and friends.

Resident comments and menu suggestions are reviewed daily and are used to tailor menu selections.
